A test system with a unique feature – it measures the error of the whole measuring circuit “electricity meter – current transformer” by injecting high current in the primary of the circuit transformer and applying three voltages, synchronized with the current to the meter. The current transformer can be up to 50 m (150 ft) away from the meter. Also, the error of the meter alone and the error of the CT can be measured according to IEEE standards. Each module of the system is lighter than 22 kg (25 lb).
